The idea for this painting came from the washing of the Toono that
I witnessed as a young boy of six. I remember seeing many women playing
in the water in the Lake of Mother. To this day I can recall the blue
water, and the golden earth as a background for the sporting female
bodies. These images are deeply etched in my memory...
